4 star dining, service and food when you dine at Marcello's. We had our grandpas memorial reception at Marcello's which was his favorite restaurant. The owner Octavio and his wife graciously opened early to host our party of 120 people. The food was absolutely delicious as we expected. They make everything from scratch in house. We ordered tri tip, chicken giardino, salad and penne pasta. The salad was so good, Italian dressing made in house! Tri tip was cooked perfect - everyone raved about it. Chicken giardino was my favorite, pasta and perfectly cooked chicken and vegetables. Penne pasta had the best red cream sauce! Food was absolutely delicious. Service was outstanding. The entire staff made sure every detail was taken care of. Marcello's was our grandpas very favorite restaurant and they paid tribute to him today by providing us the perfect place and food to celebrate him.
The food here is outstanding, authentic Italian cuisine, the Chef will go off menu if you're wanting something different, such as lamb chops etc. The staff are very pleasant & happy to help you with anything. The bartenders make a great martini how ever you like them.
White cloth on the table, knives in fork wrapped in a handkerchief. Dim lighting. This place sets the mood for a fine dining experience in Yuba City. This place gives off Tony Soprano vibes. It would fit right in New Jersey. The bread and oil are a nice starter after placing your order. Servers here are really nice. Tried the stuffed mushrooms which were cheesy and a bit greasy but soaking it up with the bread was spectacular. It was a bit spicy too so be warned. Portions here are huge. My favorite here is the Tour of Italy which comes with fettuccine Alfredo, chicken parm, and lasagna. Fun and tasty tour! My son enjoyed their pepperoni pizza and had plenty of leftovers. My fiancee did the spaghetti and meatballs which she had plenty off. This place didn't blow me away with their pasta but it definitely beats a lot of other options in the area and it's a fine dining establishment as far as Yuba City goes. Great hospitality and more than decent food makes it one of our top choices to enjoy a nice dinner when in town.
My husband and I had dinner last night. We have been here many times and we are never disappointed with the food or service. We ordered shrimp Alfredo and chicken Giardino and could not have been more satisfied; it came out hot and full of flavor! This family business ensures their guests are taken care. I noticed MANY employees walking around refilling drinks, bread, and bringing orders out promptly. Our server, Verulo was exceptional. He was very pleasant and courteous and we had a nice conversation with him before we left. We live in Wheatland and tend to go to Roseville for dinner but have yet to receive service anywhere near what we receive at Marcello's. We will definitely be back soon!
Best Italian restaurant in Marysville/Yuba city. This is a total gem, they prepare delicious food. I've been in the area for 9 years and never checked it out until I received an invitation for a presentation and dinner. Great ribeye steaks, salmon..absolutely delicious. I hear they have been open for years. Some of the items or main dishes on the menu remind me of the Olive Garden but on a more authentic level. No skimming at this restaurant, this is the real deal. Although they have been open for years and years, their restaurant is super clean- if you like authentic non-commercialized Italian food, I highly recommend!
I've eaten here a few times and have never had any disappointments! My boyfriend brought me here tonight for our anniversary dinner and we enjoyed every bit of it. We got the bruschetta as our appetizer and it was delicious! I got shrimp alfredo and the shrimp was perfect. I also got a lemon drop martini as my drink and that was very good as well. Service was pleasant too. Will be back again as usual!
We had takeout. Great packaging. Everything about our order was very good and correct. I had spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce. Very good choice it turned out. A large portion with two very good meatballs. The sauce had a very good Italian flavor. The other two entrees were Lobster Ravioli. A very good choice also! Highly recommend Marcello's in Yuba City.
The ambiance is Italian with dim lighting. The food took a little while but thankfully they gave us some delicious complimentary bread 3-4 times so we didn't complain. The food was good and hit the spot, after a long hike.
One of my favorite places to visit the garlic noodles and garlic bread is on point and with that being said I'll definitely be back
